Carosuel
By Rogers and Hammerstein
Directed by Kirk Larson
This poignant and beautiful musical was Rodgers & Hammerstein’s personal favorite and is a dramatic testimony to the power of love. In a Maine coastal village toward the end of the 19th century, swaggering Billy Bigelow captivates naïve young mill worker, Julie Jordan. Tough times force Billy into committing a crime and tragedy ensues. Classic score includes: “If I Loved You”, “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, “June is Bustin’ Out All Over.”
